Visitors endorse
Tecnargilla’s leadership
A survey reveals the approval of visitors,
who see the Italian show as an “unmissable
appointment”.
88% of interviewees gave a “good” or
“excellent” assessment
It is first and foremost the visitors who
determine the success of Tecnargilla, the
international exhibition of technologies and
supplies for the ceramic and brick
industries organised by Rimini Fiera in
cooperation with Acimac (Italian Ceramic
Plant and Machinery Manufacturers’
Association), the next edition of which will
be held in Rimini from Tuesday 30 September
to Saturday 4 October 2008.
According to the NETS visitor survey 2006
based on the responses of 1,017 interviewees
(65.4% Italians and 34.6% foreigners) who
attended the last 2006 edition of the show,
Tecnargilla is an unmissable appointment.
A total of 98% of interviewees judged
Tecnargilla 2006 positively, 88% defining it
as “good” or “excellent”. In greater detail,
17% of foreign visitors considered the last
show “excellent”, 71% “good” and 9%
“satisfactory”; 8% of the Italians
considered it “excellent”, 78% “good” and
11% “satisfactory”.
The key factors behind the success of
Tecnargilla 2006 were the helpfulness of
personnel, stand and product category
layout, and wide range of offerings. The
survey also revealed the high level of
professionalism and decision-making capacity
of visitors, who included 17% owners, 29%
executives and 45% technicians.
The special sections Kromatech (aesthetics
in the ceramic sector) and Claytech (heavy
clay technology) are both gaining in
popularity. More than a third of visitors
had already visited both sections when
interviewed. Interest was only slightly
lower in Kermat (advanced ceramics), which
was in case being staged for the very first
time and was judged positively by 96% of
visitors questioned (66% returned an
assessment of “good” or “excellent”).
The 2006 edition confirmed Tecnargilla’s
position as the unchallenged world-leading
event with an exhibition space of 90,000
square metres, more than 30,000 visitors
(including 11,000 foreigners) and 750
exhibitors (about 300 from abroad, more than
37%).
