professional ceramics industries and
metallurgy powder exhibition
(munich,
may 16-19, 2006)
On October 9th ,2005, form 10 am, ASP
restaurant located Kurdistan highway,
Tehran hosted Iran & German commerce
house & their guests including : Markus
Zenetti, the vice president of Iran &
German commerce house, Eugen Egetenmeir,
munich international exhibitions
executive manager; the manager of munich
international exhibitions project, H.
Jurgen Mentrup; Europe/ Asia trade
commerce deputy official, Mohseni, the
executive secretary of ceramics & tiles
producers organization, Nilofar Penkar,
the munich & Berlin exhibition
representative, some companies managers
& representative, affiliated with
ceramics & mining, along with the
representative of publications such as
Almas periodical (esp. tile porcelain,
glass& pottery), Irna news group,
economical Abrar newspaper, an
economical Japanese publication &
ceramics & tiles periodical.
In the press meeting of the seminar, the
attendees first introduced themselves &
their fields of activities. Egentenmeri
announced that munich international
exhibitions center is not only the
holder of these types of exhibitions,
but also covers some several specialized
trade exhibitions annually. Mentrup,
also, announced himself as a member of
German industrial machines engineering
federation (BDMA)& executive manager of
DBT (Deutsch bergbau technik) as well as
mentioned organizations. Introducing the
10th specialized international
exhibition on machines, installations, &
methods of producing initial materials
of ceramics industry & metallurgy
powder, to be held in munich on may
16-19,2006, Egetenmeir pointed out that
ceramitec exhibition has been the most
successful international event of its
kind, providing a suitable place for the
top producers, consumers & researcher to
meet.
Referring to2003 ceramitec exhibition,
he stated that 765 booths form 40
countries all over the world
participated in the exhibition, 64% of
which allocated to non-German
participants.24093 experts, 15660
international visitors from 106
countries visited the exhibition. The
top ten visiting countries at the
exhibition. Were Italy, Iran, Spain,
Turkey, Czech Republic, France, Austria,
Poland, England, & Russia. In the last
exhibition 15% of the exhibition was
allocated to earthenware & bricks
industries, ceramic dishes & usable
ceramic 9%, floor & wall ceramics 9%,
hygienic ceramic 9%, engineering &
technical ceramics 13%, refractory
industries 10%, initial & additive
materials 7%, metallurgy powder 10%,
mechanical engineering 9%, electronic
industries 9%, electronic industries 1%,
trading 4%, engineering design offices
2%, handicrafts 2%, top researches 5%,
approximately 50000 square meters of the
total exhibitions area is being devoted
to 2006 ceramitec & forty countries have
announced their official participation.
Referring to 564 Iranian visitors to the
last exhibitions, Zenetti notified that
this number is quite satisfactory,
compared to other countries visitors.
One of the participants in press
conference, pointing out the
difficulties the exhibitions
participants face to mention, visa
issuance, lack of training seminars & so
forth & also considering the fact that
these exhibitions could play an
important role in important of industry,
demanded for suitable solutions to
increase the benefits of exhibitions of
these kinds.
Egetenmeire hoped this exhibition does
not end up with merely showing the
machinery & selling products, and stated
that training, workshops & introducing
the people-involved in the related
industries – with the best and the most
effective usages of these services
should be also taken into consideration.
He also said the tendency for buying
German machinery is due to high quality
& the trust people have to it, deposit
its high price.
So, the tendency & interest both sides
have should not be confined to
exhibition once every two or three years
& the cooperation and training should be
considered.
The other important point to mention is
that the relation are not only trading
ties between Iran & Germany, there is a
reciprocal trust & also international on
social level which surely builds up a
bright future.
At present, the ties are in a level on
which so many works could be done. Imac
Company which is one of sub-companies of
munich Exhibition Company has been
active since forty years ago & my
presence is a strong confirmation that
we are planning to have strong and firm
tiles with Iran. He also stated that he
would a company the economy minister of
Germany’s Bavaria province in a visit to
Iran in January. In March 2006, he a
long which and economical mission form
Bavaria province would be coming to
Iran. “I believe these visit could be
the proofs that we are going to make the
relation in exhibition forms less than
every three years,” he said.
In addition, the representative of
ceramics and tiles magazine asked about
the reason of the change in the
exhibition time. To answer Egetenmeir
said that this exhibition was usually
held in September or October based on a
three year cycle according to the demand
of producers. Last year, in Remeni
Italy, it was decided to have the
exhibition every two years instead of
three years, but it would coincide with
the well-known “Technogila Exhibition”
which might lead to the decrease of
number of visitors.
The other question was about the
equipment which the Italian exhibition
has been preparing for Iranian. But
today, Ceramitec exhibition has been
showing weak presence in comparison to
Italian one, but Italian exhibition is
vice-versa. Egetenmeir pointing out
about his presence in Iran and meeting
with Iran’s ceramic producers syndicate,
and said above mentioned discussions
have been showing the appropriate
relation between two countries. He added
at the last appropriate Iran had more
visitors even from Spain, and had
received third rank after German and
Italy, so we are trying to reserve this
situation and promote it. Except
ceramitec exhibition, and its global
opportunity to ceramic product, nine
month later in Bau exhibition Iranian
producers would the opportunity to
present their products. I will
participate in Tehran Ceramic and tile
exhibition, and also ceramic producers
syndicate would have showing their
product in Ceramitec and Bau exhibition.
Then the manager of Almas magazine unit
research has pointed out this issue
which unfortunately the relation between
politics and technology have been
converting to undeniable relation, for
example another publication named Iran
Wire Industries Magazine had made good
connection with same magazine in us. But
this Connection has been reduced after
recent political disputes, so it was
gone. How by political factors we can
prevent from tension in cultural and
commercial relations?
Zenetti by pointing again about his
presence in Iran and Attitude for making
relations have been said these would be
private decisions in every country, so
if a company, newspaper or special
person accept this, encounter, we must
consider it as a positive matter and
eliminating them we can make some
opportunity. We are in chamber of
commerce, in spite of political issues,
being able to promote this situation.
Those who have fear and forgot their
Commitment we can recognize them and
find those who have perseverance and
interests.
The assistant of chamber of commerce
have pointed out that we are have for
commercial exchange, and have trying to
guide it in a better way.
The agent at ceramic and tile
publication have been considering that
this is the only technical publication
about Ceramic and tile in Iran. This
would be strange, because be not only
didn’t see the Almas publication with
its five years record, and it’s regular
publishing more than Ceramic and tile
periodical, but also he didn’t take into
account the other news and scientific
publication such as Elm o Sanat
University publication about ceramic and
also World Ceramic publication, and some
little and large publication about
ceramic. So he pointed out about Italy
and turkey and their good Connection to
this publication, he asked with
regarding of weak relation. Do you want
to reinforce these ties as the same as
these Country?
Egetenmeir answered, I wasn’t a ware of
unfriendly relations but we are trying
to reinforce the relation, and I will
propose this issues with German Ceramic
and tile section and the society of
Ceramic and title and public relation of
munich exhibition, here our attitude is
more powerful to making relations.
Mentrup in Continuing of Egetenmeir
pointing out this issue. He had two
responsibilities, first he is managing
director of Mine equipment and Machinery
Company, second he is the member of
Machinery producers federation in German
his Company about ceramic can propose
this issue and talk about Iranian
intentions, and also he talked about
unfriendly relations which were move
powerful in the past. he added: I hope
we solve this issue reinforce it and
reinforce relations, and also remove
some misunderstanding.
So Zenetti by pointing to this issue,
explained that fortunately the mutual
relation have been increasing Iran
export to German and vice-versa, in
2004, increasing Iran export to German
and vice-versa, in 2004, increased to
thirty percent, one main reason in this
regard would be the number of chamber of
commerce member it would be one thousand
seven hundred new member in recent year.
The agent of Almas publication asked
about considered equipment by pointing
out coordinating of Düsseldorf wire like
industries exhibition with Chamber of
Commerce and better circumstances for
renting of this coverage room for
cooperation of chamber of Commerce, Back
up tour for visitors.
Fortunately this proposal have been
presented for society of Cearamitec and
tile producers, till they became
familiar with building material and
products, so Ceramitec exhibition which
have presenting Machinery would not
appropriate place for this issue, but
Bau exhibition, which is related to
building material and building service
and product would be more useful.
Egetenmeir said about the question in
relation to holding Seminars and
teaching sessions, we must consider this
topic with more patience and examining
necessary time. Mentrup talked about
this issues that in the past, the
service after sale was not as the recent
one and today this would be one of
continues issues, for example in these
days in Mine industry we have fifteen
Iranian miner in German that have
passing their education term. Today
talking about the background of German
Customers about Iranian Products and
explained about examining of issues he
added china by presenting high price,
Confine the situation of rivalry he have
mentioned an example about Iranian which
have been producing tile as German
products, but its price was as a German
one. so we cannot find any foreign
market for It. we must mention that the
quality of Chinese product is not so
low, but it has the high quality and
also their new desirable machines.
So at the end of this issue, the
discussion about Iran deprivation would
be expensed in on, the German agents
hoped Iran would be deprived, and they
totally wants to prevent from this wants
to prevent from this occurrence.
And next Mohseni actuary of ceramic and
tile producers syndicate in his speech
have told Iran had received the third
rank about visitors of Munich exhibition
in last few years, and also Iran have
been buying in four years more than two
billion and one hundred million dollars
ceramic industrial machinery, and with
considering of economical relations
between Iran and German in many years it
would bring more motivation for
cooperation, the German export to Iran
would be more than 3.5 billion dollars
in year, but we have only 400 million
dollar export to German which is hoped
by proper relation to German we could
increase the commercial export to German
to the boundary of 3.5 billion dollars,
It can be compensated by Ceramic
industry.
Mohseni added; the situation of ceramic
producing in Iran at four past years
fortunately had three hundred quantity
grow up, which we have the tenth rank in
the world. We hope in 1386(2007) we will
receive the fifth rank about ceramic
producing with regarding to global
producing of ceramic in 2004, be more
than six billion , this amount can
improve the Iran ceramic industry in the
world, till presenting more powerfully
our product in international exhibition
. Mohseni added: recently Iranian
product had a high quality and we can
make rival by coordination, cooperation
and resemblance between producers of
ceramic industry with the famous country
of such industry . He continued: the
syndicate had more powers and are
prepare for gathering of members and
presenting the products for other
country. Fortunately we became more
energetic in research section, and by
technical we have received lots of
innovation in ceramic industry. The
managing director of Saman tile, added:
ceramic industry of Iran ad five
thousand historical record, and it have
been made more than forty years
industrially in Iran. In 1372 (1992) the
ceramic factory was fourteen, which this
number in 1383(2004) became fifty unit.
In 1384 (2005) with regarding of
machinery credits it become seventy one
unit, which this industrial unit and
production are equal to three hundred
and thirty million square meter.
Needs for ceramic and tile industry in
last few years was between 80 to one
hundred square meter. So the extra must
be exported in 1382 (2003). We had
exporting six millions square meter,
which this number in 1383 (2004) was
14.6 and we hope it will be twenty
millions in the end of 1384(2005) and
thirty millions in 1385(2006). He added,
by this position and producing three
hundred and thirty million in square
meter in 1385(2006) There is any
coordination between production, export
and internal market, so there must be
deep attempt, he added, by managing of
Munich exhibition we must it for
magazine Committee, till publishing it
and can prepare the exhibition place in
2007 for Munich ceramic product and
present it for the world.
Fortunately we have a good stance in
quality innovation and designing we know
Iran is one of the twelve countries in
the world about mine reserve, we have
more than one billion tone Mine reserve
and we can show them for the world.
Mohseni added: with regarding to W.T.O
stance we must programizing about high
quality industry, till bringing a good
presence in world trade, ceramic would
be one of this industry which had 85
percent and only 15 percent would be
external dependence. we hope this would
reduced by the high – grade and
micronized material we can increase the
quality. He told: these issues have been
present in mine and industry ministry
till preventing of ceramic industry, and
invest on mine and using the high grade
material for better quality and reducing
damages. After meeting in answer and
question R. Seyedzadeh the editor in
chief of Almas magazine in talking to
Egetenmeir examining the historical
record of Iran and German and its
approaches. The editor of Almas
periodical at first pointed out about
historical relation between Iran and
German which was based on mutual
confidence. He added the last there was
such relation between Iran-Russian,
Iran-England, French or US. In the past
decade, the relation between Iran and
German was based on political issues and
this had appositive effects on the minds
of people we hope it become independent
from political issues, and the authority
of two country must consider more
commercial and cultural relations, we
know in German after Berlin wall there
was military rules and also unjust
culture had divided the country in two
section. But today we are hope for deep
relations in economics without any
tension in economical or cultural
relation.
Seyedzadeh added: may be he didn’t aware
of these issues, but we must consider
that their ancestors had made the first
industrial school in Iran and Tabriz and
this would be strange that thousands
Iranian. Students have been taught by
German professors. Then Egetenmeir by
showing his satisfaction about this
meeting in Iran have told that he is
very happy about the deep relation
between two country and mutual
understanding. The assistance of
Managing director of Munich exhibition,
said we have lots of Iranian student and
students of art in German and talked
about periodical, then the director
answered: we just think about the
continuation of relation and It needs to
be independent from politics because
people at Iran are optimistic about
German, and this situation is Just for
German and not Government such as us,
Almas publication is a technical
publication, and it had five years
record, this would be the last number.
It must cover industry and art. Some of
our work would be educational and some
would be artistic. We must present them
in the next number. If they would be
satisfy and accept we can make a present
and preparing his interview in chamber
of chamber of commerce. It would be more
useful.
Egetenmeir by satisfying suggested that
for increasing the relations this
activity have been doing in chamber of
commerce and also he asked about the
number of publication readers and
coverage of this publication, Which the
editor answered to them. The editor by
pointing out of sending this publication
to all factories producers of tile,
ceramic, glass and chinaware, first
material and hard to melt one. Potters,
Chamber of commerce embassies ministry
of industry. Culture and .... and at the
end It cover lots of Iranian‘s
community. Egetenmeir proposed that by
agreement we can make our connection in
the chamber of commerce and mutually he
can receive the information from chamber
of commercial Miss Penkar for mutual
connection and promoting the stance.
At the end Seyedzadeh made thanks to his
presence and opportunity and was hopeful
for promoting this relation, and also
Egetenmeir by his proper action have
been showing the vast and special
prospect for promoting the mutual
relation.
