CERAMITEC 2006:

Industry's global players meet in Munich

·        Exhibitors from 40 countries gather at CERAMITEC 2006

·        Once again, largest contingent of exhibitors is from Italy

·        Increased interest from Asia  

Companies from 40 countries will have exhibits at CERAMITEC, the International Trade Fair for Machinery, Equipment, Plants, Processes and Raw Materials for Ceramics and Powder ellurgy, . Exhibitors include the industry's key players such as Ceric, Lingl, Dorst, Imerys and St. Gobain.

 As in the past, the largest contingent of international exhibitors will come from Italy. Manufacturers including SACMI, Garoll, Welko, IPA and Piccinini are just some of the companies that are using CERAMITEC as a business  and communications platform. Of course, classic ceramics countries such as Spain, France and Great Britain are traditionally well represented. The Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Turkey will also have large groups of exhibitors at the fair. Companies include Esan, Remas and Unimak.

 Participation among Asian exhibitors is also expected to be strong. The number of Chinese exhibitors has increased compared to CERAMITEC 2003, and they will have both a national pavilion and individual stands at the 2006 fair. There will also be a number of exhibitors from Japan, Korea, Thailand and India. As in the past, there will be several exhibitors from the United States, and Mexico will also be represented.

CERAMITEC, 10th International Trade Fair for Machinery, Equipment, Plant, Processes and Raw Materials for CERAMICS and POWDER METALLURGY, will take place on the grounds of the New Munich Trade Fair Centre from May 16 to 19, 2006.
